Looks like I’m not the only one who noticed Maureen Dowd’s absurd lede in today’s NYT (see the previous post). 23/6, the oft-satiric news Web site started by the masterminds behind HuffPo, has created a new feature called “Dowd: Distilled”, which aims to condense her Wednesday column into 38 words. It makes for a breezy read in addition to being somewhat amusing, which is more than I can say for her column. The first installment is listed below:
